Yes. Hypnosis is a natural state that people are constantly slipping in and out of every day. You have been hypnotized thousands of times in your life, you just never called it hypnosis before. For instance, each and every night right before you fall asleep, when you are not quite sleeping but you are not awake either, you are in a state of light hypnosis. You also experience hypnosis whenever you become absorbed in doing anything like driving, working, reading or watching TV. Athletes typically experience hypnosis whenever they are ‘in the zone’ – completely absorbed in their sport and unaware of the spectators in the stands.
This is a wildly false misconception of how hypnosis works. Remember, hypnosis is natural state such as daydreaming or highway hypnosis – and no one has ever become stuck in a daydream or in highway hypnosis.
All professional stage hypnotists will talk their volunteers back into a conscious waking state. And if something were to happen to the hypnotist while you were hypnotized, you would either get bored and come back to your normal awareness, or simply fall asleep and then wake up.
No. All suggestions are designed to bring out the best and funniest in people, not to embarrass them. Kerrilee is very sensitive to people’s feelings throughout the show. The show is designed to please the most discriminating and sensitive corporate or student audiences.
No. Please don’t. The hypnosis actually starts well before the show. A Stage Hypnosis Show works with psychological principles of anticipation and expectation. Once people know of the event, they begin looking forward to it and may begin to consider volunteering. Both the quality and quantity of your volunteer participation will be significantly enhanced on the day of your event Announcing the hypnosis show early also creates a buzz and builds excitement.
Hands down, there is absolutely no corporate entertainment that is more memorable or interactive than a stage hypnotist. All of Kerrilee’s shows are clean and appropriate, and she can customize your show to meet all of your corporate needs.
Kerrilee can also integrate personal or professional development into her program, providing you with a comedy show and a motivational, self-empowerment program that provides real and lasting value. Think of how impressed your audience will be when you give them entertainment and training at the same time. By combining great entertainment and professional development, management will see it as money very well spent.
A suitable venue: an auditorium, gymnasium, meeting hall, hotel or restaurant meeting room or ballroom is preferred. The show is ideally seen on a stage or elevated platform of 16' by 24', but not necessary.
Kerrilee typically provides her own sound system. However, for areas for which Kerrilee needs to travel and airline baggage requirements are restricted, she will require a quality sound system with two auxiliary jacks. Kerrilee always provides her own wireless microphone and music player.
12-20 chairs on the stage arranged in a straight line. Allowing at least 3 feet behind the chairs and 6 feet in front of them is ideal.
An audience of at least 50 people is required to ensure there are enough people to volunteer. There is virtually no maximum, so invite as many as you can or want. The more the merrier. The more people in the audience, the higher the energy at the hypnosis show.
Once you book your show, Kerrilee will provide you with an electronic show kit that will provide you with all the templates you need to promote your event including posters, press releases, social media posts, and a corporate announcement template.
Use these files to promote your upcoming Hypnosis Show in email blasts, event brochures, welcome packages, event posters, and press releases.
